Hey hey! Hannah here :) I am harping on about Threads so much lately, but for very good reason. I’ve been watching our community experiment with it over the past few months, and something really interesting is happening. The people who are trying the least to go viral are often the ones landing clients (and often going pretty viral too haha). Here’s what I mean. Mistake #1: Treating Threads like InstagramYou don’t need a polished graphic. You don’t need a carousel. You don’t even need a perfect photo. Some of the best-performing posts are literally one or two sentences typed from someone’s sofa while waiting for their coffee. Your inner thoughts, on Threads. People connect with people, not perfectly branded content. Mistake #2: Talking about yourself instead of your workCompare these: ❌ “I’m a detail-oriented VA passionate about helping businesses grow.” ✅ “Spent this morning unsubscribing my client from 417 marketing emails. Their inbox is finally under control.” One sounds like everyone else. The other proves you can solve problems. Mistake #3: Posting and ghostingThe biggest growth hack on Threads isn’t really posting; it’s simply replying. Leave thoughtful comments. Join conversations. Be funny. Be helpful. Be curious. Half the client stories I’ve heard recently started because someone noticed a comment before they ever saw a profile. And here’s the best part…you don’t need thousands of followers! You just need the right 50 people paying attention. That’s exactly why I’m so excited about next week's in-depth masterclass. I’ve invited Threads strategist Taylor Lane to teach the system she’s used to build an entire business through the platform. In the session, she’ll cover:
If you’ve been curious about Threads but haven’t known where to start, this class will save you months of trial and error. Threads is where it is at right now for abundant, aligned leads. Grab your spot here (next week, June 23rd, spots are filling super fast for this one!) One last thought: Don’t worry about becoming the loudest person on the platform. Focus on becoming the one who consistently sounds like a real human helping other real humans - and have fun! That’s usually enough. Hannah P.S. Let's connect on Threads here! P.P.S. If you’re planning on joining more than one expert session this year, The Loop membership includes this class (at a lower cost) plus monthly trainings, coworking, AI sessions, and the full replay library. VEA members: this class is included in your lifetime membership. |

Hi there! Hannah here 👋 For many years, I could not place why I never fit into traditional workplaces. I had my guesses, yet not once was the reason that I’m lazy, disorganized, or rebellious. So what was it? First, I want to share that I’m not alone in this, and neither are you. Research backs it up. Across thousands of studies, the same patterns keep appearing: people struggle in traditional workplaces for surprisingly consistent reasons: Neurodivergence (ADHD, autism, dyslexia): an...
Hi Reader, Hannah here :) A quick story on how I got my first good client... now, when I say good, I mean they didn't bat an eyelid at my pricing; they paid on time every time, trusted me, respected me, and, in turn, I did great work with them. 🙌 I found her in a Facebook group. She had posted asking for help with a task I happened to know inside out; I replied thoughtfully. She clicked my name, poked around, saw that my messaging was consistent, saw that I worked with people just like her,...
Hey Reader, Hannah here :) I've been in the VA and freelancing space long enough to watch the landscape shift in real time. And one pattern I see over and over again is that the people struggling to find clients are almost always looking in the wrong places... ...or in the right places, in the wrong way. I just published a full blog post on this, 10 Places to Find High-Paying Freelance Work in 2026, and I want to share a few highlights here with you. Here's what's working right now: LinkedIn:...
